JORDAN TO KEEP DAMON AND RALF

18/07/98
Damon  Hill  and Ralf Schumacher are both set to remain  at  Jordan  in  1999.  Despite  rumours  of both  drivers  it  is  believed  Hill,  who has yet to score a point in this year's world championship, is keen  to  remain  with  the Silverstone-based team despite suggesting that he would quit if he wasn't competitive   next  year.  "There  has  to  be  good
reason for me to continue, and that's to win," said Hill.  Schumacher  Jr - who scored Jordan's first point of the year at Silverstone - has been  linked with   Prost  and   Sauber  in  recent weeks, but it is  now   believed   that   the   German's   manager Willie   Weber   and   Eddie    Jordan  are   close to  an  agreement  for   1999.  It  is   believed  an announcement on the line-up could be made within the next month.
